Our modern X-ray aprons are extremely comfortable to wear thanks to their low weight and innovative materials. Lead-free models in particular reduce strain on the back and neck and allow maximum freedom of movement. The weight of the aprons varies depending on the material and lead equivalent: Lead (0.35 mm): 4450 g/m² Light lead (0.35 mm): 4200 g/m² Lead-free (0.35 mm): 4050 g/m² For optimum wearing comfort, the size and model should be individually adjusted. Our field service team will be happy to measure you on site at your clinic.

How do I care for my X-ray protective clothing properly?
To ensure the longevity of your protective clothing, we recommend cleaning, disinfecting and caring for the outer materials of our protective clothing with SupraCare. We offer our cleaning agent Desomed-Rapid-Universal. It is ready to use and aldehyde-free and is supplied in 500 ml or 1000 ml bottles with a sprayer.
What materials are used for your X-ray protective clothing?
Our X-ray protective clothing is made from high-quality materials such as SupraNorm (standard lead rubber), SupraLightPlus (light lead rubber) and SupraSine (lead-free material).
These materials offer optimum radiation protection and high wearing comfort. They are also sustainable, free from latex and PVC, and are produced on a natural rubber basis.
